Dr. Yaser Jabbar
Surgeon-technologist building AI driven computational imaging tools to bring precision and structure to surgical decision-making
Dr. Yaser Jabbar is an independent thinker currently building a Wingman for surgeons leveraging next generation computational imaging and AI-driven surgical decision support logic. His work merges applied anatomy, biomechanics, material science, engineering logic and medical imaging into platforms that allow clinicians to see, measure and reason with clarity.
With over two decades of experience in limb reconstruction and complex deformity work, he understands anatomy not as theory but as structure, geometry and mechanical truth. That domain insight underpins his technical work in DICOM-to-3D pipelines, segmentation logic, landmarking frameworks, alignment computation, osteotomy simulation and surgeon-in-the-loop decision tooling.
He is the founder of a stealth mode development research-grade environment for computational planning, automated measurements and reproducible surgical workflows. He also co-founded Granite XS, a GDPR-compliant healthcare data platform where he originated the core concept and helped architect the early system logic, data structure and security framework.
Vision and Research Direction
- Dr. Jabbar’s research aims to improve precision in surgical planning by combining imaging, computational geometry and machine learning. His goal is to help create safer, more reproducible planning tools that support clinical insight without replacing clinical judgement.

- surgical AI validation | digital twins in orthopaedics | computational modelling | patient-specific reconstructive planning
Consulting and Applied Sciences Lab
Across his consulting work, he advises MedTech and AI teams on imaging strategy, model-ready datasets, validation logic, clinical-product design and frontier surgical technologies. In the Applied Anatomy & Biomechanics "Lab", he focuses on mentoring clinicians and engineers on the anatomical and biomechanical foundations that make surgical AI safe, precise and real.
- Applied Anatomy — axes, planes, joint centres, growth geometry
- Biomechanics Mentorship — correction logic, osteotomy mechanics, simulation reasoning
- Exam / Viva Coaching — Clinical reasoning, FRCS and structured decision‑making frameworks
Always happiest at the edge of possibility and in the interactions between disciplines, Dr. Yaser Jabbar is a frontiersman in data and surgical thinking.
He builds systems with one goal: bring structure, precision and clarity to surgical decision-making to make sure surgery keeps up with the real needs of patients and clinicians as we enter a new age.
